Does anyone know of a program preferably written in C (but fortran-77
would suffice I suppose) which will track satellites using the standard
2-line element sets. I would like to compile it up under UNIX. I see
absolutely no reason why these programs should only be available in
a pre-compiled form for mess-doss :-)
Thanks in advance.

The N3EMO orbit program is available at various archive sites (such as
gatekeeper.dec.com) in the usenet/comp.sources.misc/volume11/n3emo-orbit
directory. Patches are in volume14 and volume22. The program calculates
orbital passes for your location without graphics. A few years ago I heard
about a program called XSAT, for X-Windows, but I haven't seen it.

And once it is straightened out, place it over on rtfm.mit.edu
in the /pub/usenet-by-group/rec.radio.amateur.space directory.
